6.) Question and Answer
v Art of Loving
Since
a good portion of your day is spent, working it had better be something you
like to do. No one can tell you in advance if massage is something, you will
love. Your enthusiasm for work will be communicated to your clients and
everyone around you. This translates to a successful massage practice with lots
of happy clients..
v Finding a Job
Your
school wants you to succeed and will do everything they can to help you find
work but ultimately it is your responsibility.
v
Building a
Private Practice
People
don’t know the value of something until they experience it themselves. Offering
Discounted rates or outright free trial sessions is a way to give people the
experience and start word of mouth advertising.
v Massage is Hard Work
Working
smart. People who are in pain physical and or emotional are your best clients.
Your nurturing touch helps the emotional part and your smart touch helps the
physical. Don’t forget to take care of yourself. Keep fit loose weight. It is very
difficult to do massage if you are in more pain than your clients are.
v Continuing Education
You won’t stay interested unless you’re always learning.
